Jackie's Pre-Summer 2009 Update

Hello to all my great friends here on URNA! I hope your summer is off to a great start, I hope your health is good, and I hope life is treating you kindly. Not too much has happened since my last posting back in May. Maybe that is good, maybe that's not so good. I'm doing ok so I guess that must be good!

Well, the school season is just about over which I guess means that the summer vacation period is upon us. This part of Connecticut gets pretty crazy in the summer given all the vacationers and tourist and such . It's amazing how many people can fit in one town when they do not even live here! Just going to the store for milk can take all day! But summer (and unlike here-winter life too) was not much different up the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire, its just the mountains had a tendancy to hide the crowds

Seriouosly though, I can't believe it is already going into the last part of June. Jeeeesh! Does time fly by or what? I'm still on target for my surgery the end of thius month and my girlfriend and I will soon be leaving Connecticutt and heading west to make that happen. We're planning to leave a week early so we can fit in a bit of a vacation - because that's about as much vacation as both she or I will see this summer due to my recovery.

Speak of recovery….my girlfirned tells me (and she knows quite a lot about FFS so I believe her entirely) it will be a month or so before I am up and around and out in publice again, and probably at least a couple of weeks before I even feel like sitting in front of the computer. I told her that wouldn't happen because I have too much work going on. She said "try it and see what happens!!" She's a pretty tuff chick so I doubt I'll tempt faith on that one! Anyway, seeing as I will not be doing much of anything the better part of July, I'd like to apologize in advance to those that may write and not hear back from me immediately. Not that I have a huge fan club to begin with! Wait….do I?? Naaa.
