The busiest summer ever!
July 27th, 2008 7:49 pm MDT
Ok, sooo! I have been the busiest little bee ever. I had forgotten how much goes into my little ole lifestyle. Not to mention some modeling shoots, and building content for my upcoming site! But Im so happy and having fun, things are calming a bit and Im going to have some time to get back out and enjoy the rest of summer. I opened a flickr account for some photos and you guys and gals that have written me there, thank you! Let see: So far I've done some work now with Elle at Spell Cosmetics--She continues to be awesome and Im going to be working to get the word out in our community, but she's already like the major ROCKSTAR of gg's in Cleveland. I told her Id drop a little note on some stuff on her site and I can vouch for a couple awesome products. The Beard cover kit (Rocks) and is not expensive--the nail colors are beyond killer and she has tons of shadows and lip colors. I even gave permission for her to use a few of my images! ok, for now back to my little grind!!! Luv Ya

TG Friendly
April 5th, 2008 8:15 am MDT
TG Friendly!!! The term has bothered me for years!! I've often wondered what TG Friendly really means. First, we all use it, and that includes me. But it serves as a reminder and a big caution to all of us, that its implication exists. There remains a non Tg friendly world out there. For the most part, we have the whole internet to shop our little hearts out, but we do not however enjoy that luxury when it comes to the big bad world of retail sales. How we are treated on the world wide web is radically different then how we are treated in the local mall. Now bear in mind that there are some big box stores that are accepting of us, BUT, this may only be because of a tendancy to blend with hundreds of shoppers. I wish you the best however if you have to walk up to the counter of a mall store or boutique and receive positive open service. Don't get me wrong, Im not going to write reviews and point out the bad places, what I will do however is point out the good. I am a critic, because I shop. I am fortunate enough to properly budget to spend a bit of money on this habit. When I do shop, I pay particular attention to my treatment, and when it is done in a caring, professional, comfortable and businesslike way, I'm on it and loyal. I have layed out in some of my blogs, comments in different places on the net my pleasurable experiences. Those stores/sites/owners, I will stand up for and promote. As I have been working to build my new website, I have come across different web pages while doing research and or intermittantly shopping. One thing is starting to bother me because I've noticed it recently and I'm going to give my two cents in a heads up. Im a shoe shopper (more than I should be), but there are a ton of shoe sites out there ready to sell to the world. Recently I have discovered that there are almost an equal number of shoe stores catering specifically to the transgender world. Here comes the problem: I have seen the same shoe on a standard woman's shoe site for $19.00 and the exatc same shoe (same picture, same name) on a transgender shoe store for $39.00. I've often thought "this shoe must be TG Friendly, because it costs so much more!) NO.... NO....NO.... Bad Shoe Store. I can't buy it from you. I guess I must have clicked the button that said transgendered, because my price seems to be a lot higher than a genetic female is paying for the same one. I think we are getting the drift. Now, I'm all about businesses and companies making profit, but profit off of me because you have set demand, profit off of me because you have free gifts with my shoe order, profit off of me because you can get them wholesale cheaper than others or because you sell obscure sizes, but DO NOT profit off of me just because I am who I am. Know your business, know your clients. If you want to sell to us, we are very glad to buy, but treat us equally and care about how we feel when shopping with you. Make us comfortable and be welcoming and yes, we will even pay the higher price for that treatment. I know I do. So when you have a good shopping experience, drop me a line and I'll check it out. I believe those stores/sites get our attention first.
Just the basics

I have such issues. Im trying to put together a website, but then at the same time feel compelled to write some fashion reviews. Now, I will lump this on top of making and more importantly (keeping in contact with) new friends. Well, if I"ve been a bit distant--oops---Hit me up--get my attention. I put up a new google group to chat in... http://groups.google.com/group/nicole-morgins-tgirl-club Of course ..all welcome..
Thank you

Are we limited by a man's world?
I was told this today, I wanted to share becuase it had me thinking all day... I had someone tell me that we (meaning the Transgender community), and make no mistake, whether you are a full op to part time Cd, you are the transgender community, are all limited by a mans world.
I think the meaning was this: Men dictate how genetic women as well as the Tgirl community present themselves. Genetic girls have just as hard a time as all of us, the only difference being that we push the proverbial envelope. Im sure that for all of us that put on the gown or tiara or even the stripper shoes, we are for the most part hyperfeminizing. But lets STOP making apologies for it and that includes the genetic girls. Just because men don't have the inclination to give most of us the opportunity to go to a gala ball--doesn't mean a night in the ball gown hurts----does it?
We in the Tgirl community, typically go "against the grain" I know for me that it feels wonderful sometimes to throw on the sexiest dress I have--that makes ME...feel good and have a couple photos taken. Somewhere out in the land of the internet someone will appreciate it, and maybe if Im lucky, Ill have a flatterring comment thrown at me. I believe that the world is truly to sloppy of a place. Im just here to do my part to spice it up a little.
I can honestly say this. The community of Tgirls out there, are by far the most welcoming, non judgemental I have ever known. They are the ones that have made me feel accepted and a part of something. I do not have to feel alone there, and I am comforted truly that there are others out there that wake up each day with similar struggles that I do.
So, my answer to this is "you are right, it is a mans world and we live in it" but Im going to do my little part to feel like myself; comfortable and feminine.
This was told to me by someone who actually "gets it". A genetic female who envies all of us. Why? Because we all have he opportunity to push the envelope, and when it comes from someone who was fortunate enough to be born in a shell they agree with--even better. She opened my eyes a bit and I wanted to pass this along. She's right, no more living in the sloppy men's world--just go for it!
The new Stuff!

New!!!!
The first days of Spring are exciting. Not becuase the weather is warm yet but because of all the Spring Trends. Ive got a lot of recommendations here, you'll love them all.
First, break out the new hair. Ok, ok, most of us wear, have worn wigs etc. I used to all the time. Eventually I could get mair hair where I needed it to be. Now, Im using the New Loreal Pro Vive. Its huge lather and an awesome smell. As soon as I get going I hit my hair with the Got 2 Be Cosmic Shimmering Serum. Hair shine, hair shine.
We all have to be carefull now with the weather and use the lotions you love. For me, Cocoa butter (Palmers) and Sun & Surf (Spell) are my favorite smells. (I do like the smell of summer).
This week, www.Forever21.com got my business. They have laid out the cutest summer dresses and you'll love the selection. The prices rock and I was able to get four new ones for $60.00 total.
In addition, I first time shopped at www.pinupgirlclothing.com I want to use some of their stuff in some upcoming Retro photoshoots. Higher prices but such sleek, classy looks.
I did correspond with my magical friends at www.spellcosmetics.com , I had received and loved the Fetish Mascara, and tried the royal color as well. Eye popping! I have been trying to convince the owner to join URNA because shes so T friendly. Drop her a line of encouragement at their site or in their yahoo group..
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Spellcosmetics/
In addition to these wonderful things.... I had the greatest pleasure of finding a new shoe site for all of us. Dirt cheap, Rockin service.
www.cutesygirl.com I have never seen so many actual nice ones!!!. So definitely try them out.
Ok, so I have laid it out there. Let me know any feedback on these, and definitely TELL ME WHAT YOU BOUGHT Im curious.!
Later Girls!
All access pass!

Ok, I have spent my time getting re-used to URNA and overall loving it. I have received a few emails though that were less than desirable, and am hoping to hold myself out there again as someone who desires to give something back to the community at this point in my life. I am not using URNA as a dating site, again, I am in a beautiful, happy relationship (thank you to those byt the way that have wished me support). My new site will have a definite focus on class and elegance. I want to have users be able to come there freely without some of the hassle of having to fend off the creep Inet types. I want it to be a secure place where we can be protected. For all, URNA has been once again welcoming. I am although not above deleting emails and comments that I feel are inappropriate. Be warned :) Now, to the fun!!!!
All access

Spring???
March 13th, 2008 8:43 am MDT
Its true, it might just be upon those of us who reside in Ohio--Thank merciful God! We know this means, little dresses, tans and the best smells. I appreciate everyone who reads my little journal and hope to see some comments, I will do the same as I begin to pour through them. Please let me know if any of you think my little fashion/makeup/shopping things help--or if they are cheesy!!!![]()
Attention Shoppers!
March 11th, 2008 10:38 am MDT
Well, what a weekend! The snowstorm def kept everyone in. I did accomplish quite a bit though and am eager to share. Between the magazines and the online shopping/fashion hunting, I can bring you some really good info. There are two hot magazines out there, these exist as my bibles. (Glamour, and Bazaar). A lot of my photoshoot ideas come from Bazaar. If you haven't received this months Bazaar--GO GET IT!! Its the one with Lindsay Lohan on the cover. Pay particular attention to: The Guess ads--Rock! I can't say enough here about the photoshoot at the end by Glen Luchford, (model-Melanie Ward) By far the best photoshoot Ive seen. Once again colors seem to prdominate.I bought one pair of shoes this weekend--a sandla from Bakers online. Im beginning to get away from the stripper look for a while and heading toward the retro/vintage look. The pair $49.00 and a good deal on a high sandal (Spring is coming)I also had email correspondence with Elle at Spell Cosmetics. After a couple back and forths I submitted a pic and a request of how to use a product. So helpful. I put up a couple new shots and really went heavy dark in the eye. I thought it looked really sharp with the dark lipstick. (Eyes-False effects, Lips: Glace'Merlot) Ill definitely use this again. The false effect is just like Dior Black Out, which I own as well :). Anyway in my email I told her about some of my photostuff and about being a Tgirl--For us on this site we can get 30% off all our orders with a code word at checkout (URNA). Check it out if you haven't. I have to give her props and promised Id tell everyone about her line.Anyway , I hope some people will take time to opinionate about how to set up my site (themes, etc) Im stuck as to what I want to do. Drop me a line!!!
The weather outside...
March 7th, 2008 11:49 am MST
Well, living in Ohio, we should expect it--but I suppose that after a couple more weeks, the warmups begin. So on this weekend, I SHALL be perusing the internet and the fashion mags, finding the new looks, new place for Spring shopping. Spring comes in changes and Im excited about that---I guess a springtime photoshoot could lift spirits.Come Sunday, my research should have been well underway and I will be finding things for all of us. One more weekend of weather---lets hope!

What is new? Where Im at!
March 5th, 2008 7:34 pm MST
Yes, a a journal again. Well anyway. Ive created a yahoo 360 page to kinda be able to write etc. Anyone who knows me, knows that writing, well, lets just say I can go overboard..lolOver the next week or so Im going to be getting more pics up etc. But frankly, Im re-working my website and laying out the layout--so to speak. I want something classy, and something that is personal. Thats where I can talk to everyone--do my little shopping reviews and hold my forums.Today, well lets see, the best part of today--The new Nordstrom catalog!!! It came in the mail and I certainly have locked on to the cute new JUICY sunglasses that came out. Today, I start saving! As part of my daily ritual, I do my online shopping and bargain hunting. A lot of time when I find something that rocks, I let everyone know, either here or my 360 page. My website will be way more dedicated to our community.I find the friendly stores, the friendly places and let them know that Im letting us know. Each week Ill do a few reviews here and on my page for now, the Spring places to be are.Shoes: www.electriqueboutique.com; It rocks, shipping wise and selction. Not many know about it, but most of my shoes, they come from there. The staff is friendly and cool and love our community. Lots of sales, lots of spring sandals--and high ones.!!Clothing: www.the15dollarstore.com : Rocking site! Rampage fashions and all at $15. Its obscure, off the wall and hip. Fast ship, huge selections and really trendy. Alot of stuff in my shoots are there. Ps. Here I have to throw props to gojane.com . They have the best gowns as well. Again, friendly sites and fast ship.Cosmetics: Im all about Mac and Spell. MAC, killer lines of shadows, mainstream but hot. Im watching cosmetic trends a lot!. www.spellcosmetics.com . They are rockin as well. Friendly people to the community and love us. Killer mascaras and definitely killer people. Face primers rock compared to even Smashbox! Finally, the sites. I gotta say, out of all of them URNotalone has always been the best. These people have really grown over the years and can we say enough about their orientation to all of us.Anyway, Im all about giving the sites, and stores the PR when they value all of us. Bottom line, these are the places I go, and as long as they exist will keep going. Definitely let me know your thoughts on your orders from these and experiences. Ps. If they put out a new product or new sale Ill post, but check them, if I miss one--LET ME KNOW!!! Me
