My Holiday wishes for all my friends
December 13th, 2009 4:22 pm MST
At this time of the year I find myself reflecting on the years past...times have certainly changed in as far as the quantity quality of gifts that are exchanged. Most folks just don't have it. A cause for despair and a feeling of inadequacy lets face it our elected politicians have sold America down the drain and have washed their hands like pilate of old ...ok I know this is heavy but please indulge me... I suggest that we all take stock in ourselves and each other and focus on what we have as opposed to what we don't I would just like to give you a few quotes for you pretty little heads....
The best part of life is where our families become our friend and our friends become our families.
They get to see inside of you, where others dare not go. And soon they are a part of you and, oh, you love them so. They let you laugh. They share your joy. They help you through the day. And no matter what you have said or done They will not turn away.
We can always return to a friend, like going back to a special place. And find the same warm feeling unchanged by time or distance Ok I'm not going to turn this into a book but just open this wonderful present that sits before our feet you don't have to wait until Christmas to open . Love to all my current and future friends Lacy

You are so right. It's not the things that we have that are precious, it's our friends. I have a friend who goes to my church. She and I worked in the same building and we would go to lunch together quite often. We developed a deep friendship. Even though we can no longer enjoy time together alone (she is a single lady and I am married - what would people thinkg?) our souls have been knit together. We are kindred spirits. Our souls commuicate even without words. What we share is more precious than diamonds. I am blessed!!!! - Hugs
