My First Ashley Morgin Makeover
August 7th, 2011 11:12 am MDT
Last Friday I went over to Ashley's studio in SE Cleveland to get a makeover. It's been WAAY too long since I've done something fun like that.
In a word, Ashley was wonderful! She has a fantastic attached studio that's convenient to major freeways but still off the beaten path. It's private enough to avoid worries of heading back to the car en-femme if that's your choice.
I looked so good when Ashley was done that I decided to drive home en-femme. It's the first time I've been out in public during the day AND my first time out in my home town as Christine - what a rush! Of course, the hardest part was the drive up my street.
My mind was racing. "Are there any neighbors heading out who'll recognize my car?" "I hope nobody's out mowing the lawn!" Once I got into the driveway, I figured I was in the home stretch...just hit the garage door opener, pause discretely for a few seconds while the door goes up, and drive in. What could go wrong, right?
Power outage, that's what.
OMG, on a sunny 85 degree day in August, I had no power! What a freak coincidence. Well, after a few seconds of wondering whether I should pull out and leave, I decided "WTF." I took of my wig & breast forms, put on my sunglasses, and walked into the house. If anybody saw me, they're not saying anything, LOL. All's well that ends well - and it was still a fantastic experience!
I posted some pictures in my latest gallery. Check 'em out. I'm going back as soon as I can to try a club look. I can hardly wait!!
Thanks, Ashley.

What a fantastic tale! You give me the taste for getting a makeover. I appreciated the passage when you came back home. I go through the exact same thought process when I pull in the drive way en femme. One night, going to a t-girl dinner, I could not get out of the house because the two little next door neighboor kids were playing on the front lawn. I would rather not want them to see me dressed en femme. So I waited and waited and waited but the darn kids were not going away. At one point, they crossed the street into the park (my house is facing a small public park) so I took my courage and got out of the house. But you know how it is? First, I got to put the alarm on, lock the door with the key and then walk over to my car, get into the car, start the engine and so on. That time seems like an hour but I know it's only a few minutes, The kids saw me and came rushing my way but were stumped when they saw me en femme. I said to myself "the hell with them", I have a life waiting for me! I can't be hostage to these kids. The next time I saw the elder, he asked "why was I wearing female hair" that night? It's interesting that this was all he saw, my hair...
