Introductions

Ok so here's me... a 27 year old straight, male transvestite and female impersonator. I have a great family life, an awesome job and most importantly a spectacular girlfriend who treats me like a king (and like a princess when the occassion warrants) I'm out of the closet as of about two years ago and no bruises to show for it besides a few minor inter-family tangles. So very fortunate and very happy is my general groove.
So hears what you need to know... I'm not here for anything of a sexual nature unless we're just chatting sex in which case I'll talk shop but if it's cyber you want seek it elsewhere. This is for all comers gay or straight. I love my baby and she deserves no less than every part of my heart and soul.
You also should know... I am seriously the most friendly feline around. If you wanna chat sports I'm your guy and if you wanna chat Gucci v.s. Jimmy Choo I'm totally your girl. I love the Cubs even when they lose. I'm also (though this year I'm a little ashamed to admit it) a die-hard UofM fan. On the other hand I'm all about dresses from Morgan & Co., Pleaser shoes though Tony Shoes equally rock. I dig hoopy earrings and great cosmetics.
Education and so forth... I'm a musician in performance arts. I play the saxophone as well as most of the other winds and brass. I've toured and performed over the last 19 years since beginner band and I'm still madly in love. My second musical love is the guitar. I play as much as I can just for the joy of it and thought I'm not nearly as good with a guitar as I am with a sax I still have tons of fun. I like swing and funk just as I like Classic rock and metal. I'm the kind of person who has Frank Sinatra, Slow hand, Tower of Power and Avenged Sevenfold in my CD changer all at once.
Regarding my CD/TV background... I've been dressing since I was about 12 but only taking it seriously since I was 24 or so. I broke with the closet after taking a job playing rock sax for a tour of The Rocky Horror Show. Once I saw how wild the show could be I started going to other performances en femme. This gave me a chance to walk tall for the first time in the public eye and things just flowed from there. My best friend attended cosmetology school and for a short time I did too. I learned enough about the stylists world to know two things: 1. how to do an updoo, perms, haircuts, nails and color. 2. How to realize I would absolutely hate doing them professionally ha!
Finally why am I here... I'm here for lots of reasons. I want to become more actie in the community so I've started working a drag night show at a club a couple times a month. Towards that I want to learn anything and everything that others are willing to share with me. I also consider myself very lucky to be in my position and I want to be able to offer friendship to people who are having problems working out their alternate lifestyle. If that means listening to someone talk about family issues with their potential coming out or something as simple as answering any make-up or other question I can I wantto be there. I'm in love with people and how beautiful they can all be both within and outwardly. Finally I'm here in part all for myself. I want to stand and be counted. To say to the world I'm a Transvestite and let them hear me roar or purr whichever the occassion calls for. I'm here for keeps and I want my peace of the legacy of elegance, beauty and illusion we all share.
