So, tonight, the GSA at Columbus State comm college (that I attend) is having a fundraiser for Stonewall Columbus with a dragshow, so, if anyone wants to attend, it starts at 7 pm at the auditorium in Nestor hall, hope to see you there !

Suzi just posted an amazing entry from a friend about this, which got me to thinking. I'm both boy and girl inside, although right now the girl has the boy tied up and thrown in the basement..... once she's been free for a while, we'll see what happens. However. I actually DO know how boys think, and how girls think. I was explaining to a couple of male teachers at school that the fact that they can't remember dates, is actually not their fault. for the last few decades as a "boy" with my girl repressed, I could barely remember my own birthday. practically instantly, after a few sessions with Meral, and I started letting the girl out, I could remember everybody's birthday, their anniversaries, hell, even when I'd met them. It was not just a little freaky. My instructors laughed, and it makes a great icebreaker for introducing someone to transgender concepts.
In a similar way, I actually might be able to help smooth many of the misconceptions people have.. from both sides. Well, this will have to take a side-seat to school classes, but I should probably also get working on this. I dont' think I expected inspiration of this kind from popping on to see who peeked at my profile !

Well, finally made it to the Jan party. wow, that was a lot of fun ! It was a fitting end of the day I got relieved of my job. Now that I'm not restricted to a single gender, it's full-on exploiring time ! My classmates and teachers are ok with it, so it's time to find out who's really inside. While I wish I was down to a size 10..... I'll have to work with what I've got, which seems a bit light on the nailpolish side actually... 2 colors do not really get it.
In a couple of weeks I got in for 3rd laser treatment At Gahanna Skincare. My face should be decently cleared then, and I'm adding in my arms. Spring is coming fast, and I'd prefer to show non-hairy skin.

In a couple of hours, I finally go in for my consult for laser hair removal. YAY ! seems like the process of discovery is frantic action mixed sparingly among long periods of no movement. Probably best to not think about that part, and jsut celebrate frantic action parts !

Hmm, lots of stuff, Went to the Day of Rememberance last night at the methodist church. we really have some great people here in cowlumbus. I can't believe our Rep Dan Stewart (sp?) I was really impressed with him speaking. Oh, and very down to earth and friendly too.
have a session with Meral in a bit to sort some stuff out. Anyone local here is lucky to have her as a resource !
crap, speaking of.. need to shower ! crap ! LOL

Update 10-09
Well, had my first meeting with a therapist. She thinks my gender is fluid (first impressions) so I get to find that out, and play at ALL genders... wow, how weird is that? OH, and FYI, the questionaire a therapist gives you pre-visit, they really like it when you fill it out completely. Mine was 11 pages, and afterwards, there wasn't a lot of questions, jsut a suggested path to take, and a few questions. I knew gender was a spectrum.... but I guess I wasn't aware that you caould be ALL genders simultaneously......
