"Now a Certified Makeup Artist"

Medical Tourism

Just returned from Thailand. Had SRS/GRS (or whatever the current initials are) at Preecha Aesthetic Institute in Bangkok.  Now in the recovery stage.

Doctor knew I was an active person ( the hospital "ratted" me out - I was roaming the various floors with my catheter bag in my hand), and confined me to the hotel for a week.  He told me in no uncertain terms "NO SHOPPING".  How is a girl supposed to live that way?

Yes, I was up and walking around the morning after the surgery.

I had only three days of the three weeks there to really be a tourist. But that did not mean I could not go to blowout bars and get my nails done (hint: get gel nails. At 80% humidity, regular nail polish takes about 6 hours to dry. I destroyed my manicure in 4 hours)

Thailand is food heaven.  I want to go back, there are dozens of dishes I did not get to try and I only got to spend 3.5 hours at the Weekend Market - it has over 35 acres of fantastic shopping.
