Hocus Pocus
April 28th, 2010 1:55 am MDT
The Forbidden Fruit never looked so forbidden
Taut and Free I soon became smitten
The gloss and grace called out with tenacity
Smooth and Sweet it would be satisfactory
It tasted too great just to ignore
So colorful and cute I did adore
Reaching for the Fruit as it gleamed with charm
Ignoring the stigmas no room for alarm
Lost in a world of fabric and flowers
It was a dance I knew I could indulge for hours
So in I poured my effort and focus
It was too magical to be called hocus pocus
Batting my lashes was all too enticing
Two worlds apart I thus began splicing
My new image both strong and lacey
In that moment my mind was racing
Scared and thrilled at the very same time
I engaged with passion like a beautiful rhyme
It all seemed to fit, maybe not so snug
But this feeling I get I knew that I loved
Forever she and I would be known as one
Interweaved for eternity like Earth and Sun
