Me, the pool, and Thor.

Hard to imagine how all those go together huh? Well since it was forecast to be sunny today, I decided to go the pool at my condo complex and sunbath while reading my lastest issue of Glamour magazine. Going to the pool is a lot more involved than one thinks. First there is the bikini cream, then the leg shaving, then more leg shaving, then some more touchup with the bikini cream. Finally, theres getting the tankini on and selecting a outfit to go over it while I walk to the pool through the complex. I put on some short shorts and my MSU t-shirt. After about 20 looks in the mirror I walked down to the pool. There was a poolboy there...well a pool guy. He looked like Thor. I sauntered in and he said hi. I waved back. I found a nice lounge chair and laid out in my black and pink tankini with my sunglasses and Glamour. That pool got the best cleaning it ever had I think. The pool guy, aka Thor (long blonde hair in a ponytail, beard, and built like a nordic legend) saw a kittykat over by the edge of the fence. He came over and petted it (close by me...and obviosuly an entree to upcoming conversation) After a bit he walked over and tried to be charming. He was actually. I had to limit my talking so as not to give myself away... I didn't want him to realize he had been checking out a "gurl" the whole time. He was nice, but left after a short time due to my limited responses. I feel bad cuz he was really nice, but I was afraid to say much. Then the yard maintenance guys showed up and thoroughly weedwacked, trimmed, and mowed the area around the pool...multiple times. I thought they were going to burn out the grass. I felt pretty good, and basked in the attention. So this is what its like to be a girl that is the object of a lot of attention! It felt totally completely 100% awesome. I feel bad about Thor though, he must think I was stuck-up,... maybe if he comes back again, I'll figure a way to gently break him the news and maybe he'll still be friendly. I hope so, the pool isn't all that deep if I get thrown in! Soon the clouds came in and the sky darkened, and I ended up doing the shopping rounds at Dots, Meijer, Target and Fashion bug. I'm glad I got to the pool early while it was still sunny. I wonder if Thor will be back cleaning the pool more often now :-)
