Unconditional Love?

Everyone seems to want "unconditional love".... someone to love them for who they are yet allow them total freedom to do whatever they want.
It's easy to WANT the highest of love...selfless love...but does the person who wants it really have a clue what it is, what it means, and possess the insight to return in kind?
"Love" is only as deep as the person who uses the word.
One wants THEIR version of love, but it's so rare to find one who desires to give as much as they would like to receive.
Most never know the depths of this emotion because they can't embody it...not to mention see outside the glass windows and ceilings of their self-imposed reality. Yet we shouldn't quit growing to understand and care for others in the unmatched light of love, because in the ideal scenario there is no joy or fulfillment to equal it.
I believe love is the greatest gift we have to give and receive.

PLACE OF PEACE
DANCING WITH THE DAWN
As dawn chases away the black of night
So does the Lord's radiance illuminate
Shadow from the core of Spirit
Dilemnas unified in a bolt of lightening
Whatever we give is silently rewarded
Every atom is counted in the end
Past is a memory and future a dream
The entire universe pivots on the Present
Lilies dancing in the Spring breeze
Waterfalls caressing crystal sand
So does God's wise hand guide us
Toward our true heritage of sheer glory

Launching Light from Love
Atomic Energy Unbridled And Free
Crystallizing the Masterpiece of the Cosmos
This Cosmic Ocean Of Light Then Formed
Points of Light As Observers Of It's Sheer Majesty
Discovering It's Nuances and Mysteries
Reveling In Unbounded Consciousness
Some Points of Light Split through Free Will
To Explore Different Directions
Hurled By the Fluid Fire
To Become Twin Spirits
These Spirits Rejoiced in Their Revelations
But Had Somehow Lost Their Other Half
Their Journey Had Led To Earth
Not Knowing Where Their Twin Could Be
Lifetime After Lifetime They Searched
Crafting Their Numerous Stories
In The Third Dimension Of Dichotomy
Heart Ever Questing With Ceaseless Desire
Through The Thrilling Victories & Bitter Losses
Chained By Attachment & Aversion
The Totality Of Aeons Ago Was Forsaken
In This Grand Illusion Called Reality
Then In The Dawn Of One Glorious Day
One Spirit Came Upon The Luminous Eyes Of Another
Filled With An Awe & Wonder Never Felt Before
Yet Seemed So Complete And So Familiar
In A Flash Of A Second Eternity Beckoned
In Recognition Of Their Long Lost Twin
Consumed By The Yearning of Primal Passion
Enraptured By Love's All-Consuming Bliss
Unified In The Totality Of Ages Old
Fused Into The Ultimate Love
These Twin Spirits Spiraled
Into the Heart of God
