Old friends and new

Well, I've been getting out more regularly, and attended the Dirty Show 8 last February. DS8, held in the Warehouse District of Detroit was a straight function, with a few alternative lifestyle people thrown in for good measure. Missed my chance to meet Vena, though. I've met lots of people, in person and here on-line, adding to my growing list of friends. Last Saturday (3/24) I attended the Crossroads Chapter (Michigan support group) 29th. Anniversary Dinner / Dance in Warren. Amazingly, I made it in time for the cocktail hour (7:30pm), and had a chance to renew some really old friendships (I was a member way back in 1978), and make a few new ones. Sharon, Dawn, and the other volunteers did a wonderful job, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I had planned to leave by 11PM, so I could drive across town to do Gigi's as well (I promised to pass messages when I got there), but left nearly 11:30pm. I stayed until closing and went back to change.I'm looking forward to the 30th next year. I've still got many of the newsletters from back then, and want to share them with the other girls. I may do the Exotica Show April 28th, if things work out.Huggs, Lisa
Finally a new photo

After almost a year with the same photo (but lots of nice comments), I decided to post a new one. I took this one on Sat. April 1st, on my way home from a night out at Gigi's in Detroit. I stopped behind a building in Southfield, set up my camera & tripod, and shot away. Cars passed by, but at 2AM, who's looking! Anyway, this photo came out pretty nice, so I thought I'd update my profile with it. I don't think I'll be back out any time soon, however. My Mom's health is failing (and in hospice), and my nephew will be moving into my Mother's house for a short time. A lot of things still have to be done yet, and I don't know where I will find the time. Summer will be here soon, and that means sailing season will take over my weekends. By the way, please check out Bob's profile (52623), and vote for him. He is a sweetie, and all the girlz love him.
