Where has the time gone?

It's been a while since I posted my last journal entry. I'm working a ton of overtime at work lately, which is good, as I hardly got any o.t. last year, so I'm not complaining. I will be attending SCC this year (Yay!) and look forward to seeing many of my friends there, especially since this will be my first time back since 2000 when I was there working with Jim Bridges doing makeovers.
As some of you know, I live in an apartment complex that, for whatever reasons, has a proliforation of dogs in it. It can sound like a dog kennel around here sometimes when someone takes their pet out for a walk. The people in the apartment below mine have a dog, but they keep their dog quiet for the most part. What I have to deal with is the husband/father who yells and argues with his wife and daughter, and their dog, which seems like every night. I've told him that I can hear everything they say and do, but it doesn't do any good as he keeps it up. I'm not even going to try talking to the complex manager about this as she didn't do anything about the last two tenants either. (See previous entries) Since I want to go to SCC this year, the option of moving to another apartment complex will have to wait until next year.

As long as you keep that smile and that wonderful feminine attitude, with you chin up, things will improve. We've all had those neighbor problems, and last year I would have gladly traded your neighbors for a distant neighbor on my street. Although this, not so nice person lives at the end of the street, I have to pass her house daily and she still gives me stares when I pass, especially if I'm walking past her house. I hope you enjoly SCC - you deserve a break. Cheers! --- Teri
