To be or not to be

Life is full of choices, what to eat, where to go, who to be, what we do and how we choose effects a lot of people, especially ourselves. The most important person we affect is ourselves, shouldn't we chose the thing that makes us happy, not doing something just so somebody else doesn't disapprove of us. All of us here have accepted the Transgender lifestyle in one form or another, whatever the reason, it is of our own chosing and we have to be comfortable with ourselves, not worry about what everyone in society thinks. So stop throwing away all those pretty clothes, make yourself happy. A good friend of mine asked me why I dress and I told him I enjoy experiencing both sides of life, both male and female, because of it, I have become a better Human Being. In the words of a great man, Yogi Berra, "When you come to the fork in the road, take it." A few of you have asked about my "yearbook" picture, well 13 years ago (ugh), a photgrapher friend of mine took it to replace the one in my own high school yearbook and I pasted it next to my guy one. If I only had done it in High School, I might have went to the prom -lol.

Thanks for sharing you story about the photo. I figured there had to be a story behind it. Your explanation is much the same as the one I gave to a friend recently in regards to dressing. In many ways I see my feminine side as my better side as a human being. Many of my characteristics that I have long been taught to suppress as a guy are still part of Katrina (fortunately). I see this as a blessing. As for the prom, I don't think either of us really missed much.
I had more fun working on my garden that evening instead of going.
