Sure, some of us don't like labels, but they can help sometimes. If we're to make due with calling ourselves this or that, why not come up with a new and ambiguous category? Something like "gender gifted". It's definitely not new, and was probably suggested before, but how about it? Would you use it in your profile? Are the old 'stand-bys' are getting to be old, specific, and stigmatic? Maybe another label is wrong, and just adding to the clutter? Regardless of what you consider yourself, be proud, and call yourself whatever you want! ^_^

Honestly, I think the idea misses the point of why we even have categories. Granted, not everyone fits into a particular category, but we do offer quite a few to choose from. After all, the point of putting yourself in a category is so that others can search for people who are similar to themselves or to search for someone they might be interested in. While Gender Gifted isn't a bad choice, it doesn't say all that much... are you part time, full time, once a year, what exactly does it mean to someone else looking at it? Writing in something yourself I definitely don't consider a good idea as we'll have 10,000 profiles with 10,000 different categories, making categories pretty useless to find a particular "type" of person... it would be as useful as having no categories at all.
That makes more sense Val... however, it would be pretty tricking keeping people from selecting "mutually exclusive" categories to place themselves in... something for us to consider though... along with a very long "todo" list...
