state of the (marriage) union

Jan. 30th 2012 Time mag, on the page headlined NATION a little blurb about same sex marriage rights. It appears about 16 states have some sort of law concerning same sex marriage rights. Some issue licenses, some recognize marriages fm other states, some give state level spousal rights, and some states provide partial spousal rights. That amounts to about 1/3 of all states. It seems to be moving ahead despite the religious and political rights attempts to stop it. And it seems tg rights are moving along just as well.
