Matching outfits......

....Pink-o-flauge shorts with matching tanktops on close out from the Family Dollar store..$13.00.....matching toenail polish in RED RED RED...$4.50.....the look on the soon to be new neighbors faces when they say us together picking veggies....PRICELESS!!!....They know we live alone as our kids are grown and have flown from the nest.  In my heels I'm 6'5" and tip the scales about 210lbs....  Not your average woman by any stretch of the imagination.  We finished up errands early this past Saturday and locked the world outside the gates and had a wonderful girls locked in weekend.  Spent time watching great flicks,,"To Wong Fu"..."Sorority Boys"..."Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "Bird Cage".....in the cooler hours of late afternoon we grilled meat and veggies as we swilled some fine burbon...mine with lemonaide and hers with DC.  The smell from our BBQ always causes boonieville traffic to slow for a deep whiff of the pecan smoke that drifts roadward.  We are deep in the lot and have 15 years worth of thirsty landscaping between us and their prying eyes....could run around naked and they would never know.  What made this weekend special was just like the previous dozen and the dozen before them....being accepted...being encourgaged....and being loved for being me, by my best friend...my lover...my wife!
