The Scent of a Woman

Have you ever noticed while out shopping or somewhere, when a woman happens by close to you, wearing a particular scent, even though you may not agree with the scent or strength of the scent, it gives you a feeling of femininity inside? I do, and it feels wonderful! Often ones scent catches my senses and arouses my interest in wondering about this person. Who is this special person that takes time to make themselves unique by wearing perfume? Do they like soft, sensuous materials? Do they enjoy life as much as I do? Are they compassionate and caring people? Are they intimately involved or on the prowl? How wonderful it must be to be so happy and content in life. So often, and really, most often,  women carry no scent at all. Seems like life is in such a hectic state for these people they don't take time to adorn themselves for self pleasure and self expression. Sad but true. Is life passing by so fast for us trying to make others happy, we have no time to make ourselves happy?  

  When I dress en femme, I can hardly wait for the 'finished look' to happen so I can add the last and final touch to myself to 'complete' the job that just took 2 hours to achieve. On goes the Chanel No. 5, lightly and targeted to the proper areas of the body. To me, perfume is the icing on the cake that makes the transformation totally complete and real. Perfume to me says, "Yes, I'm a lady and don't you know" out loud for all to hear. A reminder that femininity is not dead and there are still 'ladies' here in todays society that still want to look like and be treated as a lady. Sensuality is still alive and can still be displayed in public in a classy form, perfume. A lady to me is still special, and there is no better way to express yourself as a lady than to spoil yourself wearing perfume.

Long live the Rose pedals.
