Bras, Breastforms, and Bewilderment

Girls, I need your opinions. As you all know, there are many different styles of bras out there on the market, and as you also know, there are many different sizes of "c", "d", etc., I know, I know, but I didn't make the rules of size. Maybe we should have a bra cop, who goes around and tests the cup sizes to ensure a "d" is really a "d". If it fails the test, the manufacturer gets a stiff fine( no pun intended) and educated on what a "d" cup should be. Of course, then we would need another bra cop to ensure one side of the bra would be a larger "d" than the other, and we would need another bra cop to ensure one cup was a little lower than the other, to compensate for body design errors right? Isn't attempting to be perfect fun? Ok, so we'll just have to live with having to make concessions for birth defects in our bodies and do the best we can right?
Now, here's where I want your opinions. File down those nails, and type a response for a poor girl in need, because I cannot see myself having to spend thousands of dollars to find out the hard way.
First off, I currently have triangle shaped breastforms. I love them for the most part, but there are occasions where I think, the teardrop style would fit better or look better depending what I'm wearing. Also, I would like to attach them to me, so I do not get the 'falling away' effect each time I bend over( stop thinking dirty here), i.e., to pick something up or put on my heels. I also think having them attached would keep the bra from riding up on my chest during the day. Needless to say, attached would be perfect in a bathing suit.
So, what is your experience with different forms? Which ones do you like the best and why? Have you experienced attaching them, and what did you use to attach them? Which style do you feel fit and look the best, triangle, teardrop(oval), or other styles?
I have queried the manufacturers of course, but they pass the final opinion right back to the buyer as personal preference, so that's what I need from you. I intend to buy more forms, but would appreciate your opinions to possibly avoid dissappointment later.
Thank to all you reply.
Hugs, Jill

Thanks Sherry for your opinion. I have always worn 'd's also. I usually wear a halter style top, or a halter low cut back dress. I guess my main concern is consealing the edges of the breastform best so as not to see it exposed as well as filling out the cup fully. I do like to see the nipple through my clothing so most of my bras are unpadded stretch sheer type materials. I guess I'll just have to try the teardrop shape and decide from there. What I suspect is it will all come down to is each style will fit/look better depending on the bra style and or the clothing style. I do so wish a manufacturer would come out with a larger areola on their forms though to better replicate a real breast. I think the new 'perfecct d' breastforms do the best job on that, but I'm not sure I like the silicone breast look yet. Oh well, looks like I'll just have to keep experimenting until I find that 'look and shape' I seek.
Thanks again, Hugs, Jill
