FetishCon 2007

Here is my little blog from fetishcon and a day or so after. I hope it inspires you to come to fetishcon next year. C=X FetishCon. Day one. Dr.X and I arrived on thur and settled in to rest up for 3 days of fetish with little or no sleep. A lesson learned from last year. We also booked a room at the Hyatt so we could immerse ourselves in the environment. Another lesson from last year. Friday, I missed the exhibit hall, I was out doing other stuff and ran out of time before we had to get ready for a party at the Castle. We rode the shuttle bus over to the club, where they had us go upstairs through a back entrance. Once we got inside we moved to a corner of the dance floor and didn't move much. It was crowded and that's fine with me. More people to have fun with. I'm not a name dropper, nor do I kiss and tell, but I will say this. It was magical in our little corner of the dance floor and I had a good time. The love and attention from all the girls and couples was so wonderful. I hope they received as much as they gave me.
Alter-Ego Fetish Party Feedback JAN 13

If you didn’t derive pleasure from being in the presence of this alter-ego, either you weren’t there or were rendered unconscious the instant you walked into the club. And I didn’t see anyone unconscious. I was in various rooms, one with a cage, there were two others one upstairs and one downstairs that had two stations each, upstairs stage and other cool little spots to dance and watch the scene unfold. One of my favorite things about club xit is the amount of seating and the way it is set up.
Every place I posted myself gave me a sense that everyone was connected. The party and love vibe of the entire scene was overwhelming, in the hot dark way only a fetish party can provide. Once I tapped into it I couldn’t hold still for very long. Everyone around me seemed to reinforce my feelings. That kicks ass! Another reason I love alter-ego so much.
There is something about the parties at club xit that seem magical. I loved watching the pro doms work their art on the various body parts of the willing. They were amazing. If you didn’t see someone transgender at this party you had blinders, goggles or a gas mask on. Tgirls were everywhere! Its really great to see so many of us at a party. Thanks for the eye candy girls, I love to see everyone of you there. Couples were having a great time as well. They’re such big flirts. I might have to start pinching butts.
DJ’s Danny Bled and Godfather played kick ass sets that wouldn’t let you take a break. Every time I took a break another good song started. Did they bring their entire music collection? Each time I changed dance floors they were packed. And I finally realized they didn’t design makeup for these conditions. Wish I could write something about the outside
Once again another kick ass party. Party doesn’t really describe the modern ritual created each time we all converge and share this experience together. If you come expecting to find fun, someone or something you’re into, all you have to do is make the effort to connect. This is just my version filtered through my experience there; I hope you had as much fun as I did. If you think you didn’t; then try again it will work out better next time. Review of the Fetish Factory Alter-Ego party of December 9th

I hope everyone enjoys the review of the Fetish Factory Alter-Ego party of December 9th. First let me apologize for not hanging out with my sisters more. I had been waiting for this party and needed to dance until I couldn’t dance any more. Mission accomplished. The best surprise of the night was when my girlfriend brought my friend Danny over and I looked around and saw all my sisters gathered together right next to me. Duh, I felt embarrassed for having not noticed sooner. Here I am surrounded by transgender sisters and didn’t even realize it. Hello! Was everybody out on the 9th? If not there were few missing, I think. Ok I may be exaggerating a little but there were by my count at least 15 of us.
That kicks ass! Wow it seems like more and more of us are showing up at these events. That’s good that we are able to show strength in numbers, support the scene and each other. Well, my girlfriend Dr. J and I arrived at XIT somewhere around 10:30 – 11:00. I like to arrive early, find a place to post myself, socialize and then watch the party vibe build. That’s one of my favorite parts of the experience. As usual the parking was easy and close. If you haven’t been to XIT the club is 2 story with multiple rooms and DJs. They also had an outdoor area. I only went outside once early in the night. I can’t stand the cold, sorry, so I don’t have much to offer on that end.
I always end up where dj danny bled is playing. He always plays great darkwave, gothic style dance music. Just the right beats. This was my second time at alter-ego@xit and the energy was definitely feminine both times. It seems like girls night too me. It may have something to do with the location of the club. The party mood was rampant and you could tell everyone was ready to let go. And it seems like everyone did from where I was watching scenes unfold. If this was an indication of what XFP will be like for the new years party I can only add this: use extra hair spray or bobby pins, you’re going to need it.
There was so much love that night. For me it felt like a coming out party or something. The hugs and love was abundant. There was a scene for everyone, from the racks to cages. I want to say again about this party. I consider it a second home. It is so welcoming and tg friendly. If you don’t know many couples, boys and girls come here seeking out transsexuals and transvestites. You just might find someone and hook up if that’s what you’re looking for. Rebecca and other dancers put on a hot season theme show. Corruption can be so fun! There are pics of the party and show on fetish factory’s alter-ego website. In fact these are better than anything I could write about the party.
Unfortunately, I feel like I missed one of the highlights of the night. This story involves a transvestite I had a similar experience with and suspect other have as well based on what I’ve learned since my experience. Some of you most likely know who I am referring too. So you know now I won’t name, names. Ok here we go, this is how the story was told to me by my girlfriend. Transvestite says after having a drink intentionally thrown in her lap “what did you do that for?” The hot go-go dancer looking girl responds “because alcohol sterilizes”. I am so disappointed that I missed this scene and that I didn’t think of it during my experience with the tv. I have no doubt that someone reading this knows who I’m referring too and I’m not including the parties involved. Dam why couldn’t I have thought of that?
That’s my take on the party as filtered through my eyes and experience. I really hope this motivates other sisters to come out. What I think makes the alter-ego parties so special in part is the dress code requirement. It helps keep everyone at the same level so to speak and keeps the vanilla crowd where they belong, safely away from us. I never feel judged or as an outsider. From Donna and Glen, the party host, the staff and patrons I always feel welcome. Each time I make new friends and have a better time than the last. So if you’re a fetish party virgin or haven’t been out as you then by all means, what are you waiting for? An invitation? Hello!
