Sexuality V Gender

It seems to be the perception of some that Transgender is a sexuality,and is the same as been bisexual,gay,and lesbian.Now I am not sure why some people believe its the same.Because clearly it is not.I am sure there are alot that think puttin on a skirt,stockings and wig on gives them a hard on and use it as a fetish.But I for one didnt spend 40 plus years transitioning because I was gay or bi or les or because putting on womens clothes gives me or someone else a hard on.
The term glbt is a misinformed and misappropriation for the term transgender.It is tacked on the end of 3 communitys that stand for sexuality,not gender.
In Australia The Greens represent the glbt and there is not one policy,not one consideration to the transgender community.Why? because transgender is treated like a sexuality.Last time I looked a gay man didnt need srs to transition into a woman.Last time I looked a gay man or lesbian didnt have to run through pathetic hoops to correct their gender.its not sexuality,its gender and if the transgender community woke up to itself they would realise all the things they moan about not having and been discriminated against would change if they all did and stopped portraying transgender as a sexuality.
But what do most of the transgender community do? hide behind closed doors or on computers whinging and moaning they are hard done by and how hard they are judged...Well let me tell you something for free,no one ever changed anything by sitting behind a computer moaning about anything.
I personaly do not recognise been tacked onto the end of the glbt.The gays,lesbians,womens libers all created change through unification and been on the same page.The transgender community will never ever create change and be accepted unless they find the same unification throughout the world.
For those who want to sit there and be comfortable arguing that transgender is sexuality and deserves to be tacked on the end of a group that serves no purpose to it.You the most self absorbed ignorant of all.Especialy cd's who have no idea what the word transition is unless they feel a hard on comming on.
If your a man,and sleep with a woman,your hetro.if the guy puts on a wig and skirt,he is still a hetro.It does not make them a lesbian.If a man sleeps with a man,he is gay.If a man puts on a skirt and sleeps with a man,he is still gay.it does not make him straight.
And who a person sleeps with has nothing to do with Transgender.
I am sure this will raise debate,but its a fact and having spent 30 years lobbying governments to try and make neccessary changes for the transgender community I find some peoples ignorance here quite insulting.

It is so depressing some times coming on here watching people whinge and moan and play the victim and do the poor me all the time.
