Dreaming of Spring 2009

So it is February 2009 and I am dreaming of spring. The past few months have seemed like a dark winter with the crazy election and the economy. Even my soul feels cold, but I am dreaming of spring. I am excited for the year ahead. After several years as a single parent my youngest is off to college this year and I have reached the two year mark of my hormone treatment. A year of transition lies ahead. I am so excited to finally get on with the next part of my journey that nothing seems to get me too down. I can’t wait till I can put the bulky winter clothes away and wear my summer outfits. No matter how dark things seem spring is there to bring new life and hope, so I am dreaming of spring.
