Week Two

April 30th, 2006 7:07 am MDT

Hi!! Well, I first want to thank everyone who waded through my first entry below, and appologise that I can't figure out how to break it up into paragraphs no matter how many times I hit the enter key. So this week I'm going to try doing a list thing-ey, if at least to stop the run-ons. (EDIT -- it didnt work. bummer. Sorry!!!) (i'd also ask for sympathy for my spelling; Bill Gates and spell-check killed that ability a long time ago.)Also big thank-you's to the girl who wanted to imagine me doing the happy dance in lingere -- it's too cold, and besides, I'd end up tied up in all those straps in my sleep. Plus what would my stuffed pingi think, me not wearing my regulation pink flannel PJ's???It's been another week at home; I don't know if my living on my own is good or bad for my self-esteem. It is good for clothes - I have TWO closets and THREE dressers packed with my stuff, and a bag of emergency boxers somewhere in the guest room. It isn't good for the purse, as a few late night glasses of zinfendel and I head straight for victoria's secret and eBay waving my credit card. Oh well...There isn't really much else to comment on that I can think of, other than all the interesting people I have gotten email from. Well, hopefully I will get the formatting thing straightened out soon and think of some witty reparte to sprinkle my journal with. Oh, the pressure!!!!Kiss Kiss! -Dougie Howzer...oh wait. That's how I sign the OTHER electronic journal!!! Kisses! A

Greetings!

What it be!  I have to start my first entry to the 26 people who have voted on my picture in the 24 hours between signing up and starting this journal: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Please picture me in my flannel PJ's jumping up and down on the couch doing the happy dance. What you have done for this poor girl's self-esteem can not be expressed in words. I have signed up with this site to try to come out of the bit of depression I am slowly coming out of. I am divorced, and have had both a long time GF and my ex dump me over my, errm, split personality, if you will. Also lost a few friends. Also lost a really cute fur coat, but that's a story for another journal entry. Two years ago, after all that happened, I decided to go all-out like gang-busters, which kept my mind off things for a year, but slowly I have become a recluse. (Just substitute stuffed penguins for the cats). Well, I guess I am not totally alone. There's some guy who lives here. I never see him, he just keeps leaving wet towels on the floor. (Drumroll, please) I have gotten tons of help and advice, (and an offer of marriage from a german tranny site, but that too is another story :) ) but still I just struggle on trying to reconcile the dichotomy that is moi. (ah, don't let the high-falutin' talk scare you. According to a GG friend, the celebrity I most resemble is ... STEWIE GRIFFIN. It took a while, but I think I accept it as a compliment) Kusse Kusse!
