Well another work day and week has come to an end.  My best friend's birthday is coming up soon.  On the way home I stopped at the jewelry store and bought her a very special necklace.  She will love it and tell me I spent too much and I shouldn't have.  I also went by one of my favorite dress shops. The store manager, melanie, is a friend of mine.  I told her what I was looking for.  She brought me the first of many pieces.  While I went to the dressing room to put  them on she looked for more. Once dressed I stepped out and asked her how she felt they fit and looked on me.  I am very selective on my clothing. This went on for a couple of hours until I had finally chosen the items  I wanted to purchase.  I have been into the store a number of times already this year and have always come away with quite a few pieces each time.  As she was finalizing the sale we talked about accessories. She said with the outfits I just purchased I should look at some boots with heels for a classy, feminine look.  So with purchases in hand I headed to the shoe store a few doors down from where I was.  I spent what seemed like forever walking down aisles looking at many styles of boots with heels of different heights.  While trying on a few different styles I chatted with a few of the other women there too. Mainly making comments to each other on how the particular footwear they were trying looked on them.  Finally deciding on the pair of boots I wanted I paid for them and left for home having spent just about what I had planned.  All in all it was a totally enjoyable evening shopping and chatting with other women.  A few short years ago this was just a dream for me. It is now just every day for me.  Dreams do come true, at least for me.
