Journal Entries for Joanna
Boi things and Girl things

I'm fairly athletic. When I decided the last time to stop living full time it was because I missed all the things I enjoy doing as a boi. I'll give one example. Skiing or snowboarding. I do that as a boi and Im good at it. I've done it once as a girl. it was fun but it was almost like starting over back when I was a teenager experimenting with crossdressing. I've seen the pictures too. I have got to get different clothes if I keep going. I'm beginning to realize how butch my boi clothes are.
I decided a long time ago that I'll never do SRS. I've always thought I would never switch to just one gender either. It would save me a fortune in wardrobe costs though. I know my wife would prefer Joanna but she is accepting. She justs gets annoyed when I spend too much time as a boi.
I do want to do more things as a girl, then maybe I won't feel this driving need to switch back and forth. Can you A.D.D. to an extreme level?
Effeminate. Why is that harder for me?

I moved to Austria with the intention of acting and looking like a girl. I've lived full time before. That wasn't the intent here. I can dress and look fairly passable. I have a harder time not dressing and acting effeminate. Here is the scary part. I could be and act like a girl almost any time I want to. I'm not sure why but I'll be out with my wife (not dressed) and acting similar to the way I do when dressed, when I suddenly notice myself being very very butch. I'm sure it's habit and the fact that grew up that way. I just wish I could break that habit. Nobody here seems to care whether I'm butch or a gay male. They don't question the overtly plucked eyebrows, the shiny manicured nails, the earrings.
lausanne Gay Pride

We went to Lausanne this weekend and had a great time at Gay Pride. They do a wonderful job of making it a fun weekend. Friday night was a little slow but we met some great people. To all the wonderful women and men we met. Marie Mimi, Nathalie,Claire, Paschal Dominique, thank you it was wondeful to meet you and I hope we see you again soon. We got a slow start on Saturday and barely made it to the parade. It was smaller than Salt Lake's and NYC's but they were having just as much fun. I love the bubble machine but hated that stuff on my feet. The walk with the parade also gave us a great chance to see the city.We stayed out way too late on saturday night. It's monday and Im just now recovering from that. We slept until one today. Sunday was really slow and we just went down to the village to eat before driving back.I was a little disappointed in the number of TG's I saw. I only saw one on friday and saturday during the Day. There were a few Drag Queens but that's not what Im talking about. ON Sat night I saw 4 or 5 but it seemd like they were being careful not to come out until then. It may be that Lausanne is a small city. It was very cool that there were no counter-protestors. IN NYC and Salt Lake there are a lot bigots that turn out for the parade and they are really annoying. It was wonderful to see all the families and people turn out to watch the parade. For my vote the Swiss get a hand up on the Americans for being open minded and fun.Not sure what the next party. Probably Amsterdam for their Party in August. I love Amsterdam. No one even noticed my nails in Amsterdam. That was the one thing that everyone noticed In Lausanne. Of course Long nails are not really done here. Athena finally took hers off after looking for aplace that does acrylic nails for over 3 weeks. We love to shock (nicely that is) and the nails definitely did it here. Lesbians have the hardest time understanding why you like them. Well they do until you give them a little back scratch!
