Old Goat Syndrome

My birthday just past (2/17) and I feel a bit past ripe. I have had a horrible stomach virus and severe body pain from a fall after slipping on ice. I have spent the last 10 days in bed or in the local emergency room as I had become severely dehydrated.

A few of you darlings that have sent me wonderful birthday wishes may think I am rude and unappreciative because I have not said "Thank you" for the sweet comments, but you must believe me when I say that I do appreciate those birthday wishes and will thank you individually as soon as I can muster  up enough function to sit at my desk for that long.

X-rays and CAT scans showed nothing out of the ordinary at the body repair station (AKA: local hospital e-room). I have, once again, completely stumped the medical geniuses but at least they gave me a few little pills to make me feel a tad bit better.

No solid foods for 8 days is a sure way to loose weight. I lost a pound a day. Not being able to hold down even a sip of water will make it happen. I do not recomment this to anybody...well maybe a worst enemy. I have a size 10 dress waiting for me to feel well enough to slip it on.
