reflections on scc expierence

It was fabulous in so many ways! Not only being more fully in touch with my feminine core, but also hearing from inspirational leaders of our larger community.
I felt part of something truly larger and quite wonderful! We are the cutting edge of the power of self-expression in our culture. We need to strive or even fight for more undertanding, acceptance, and dignity.
If our culture can fully accept us so many other prejudices may crumble. We are part of our world and can help it grow and progress.
But I do not want to be too serious! Feeling & expressing my feminity just makes me feel wonderful and complete.

Seeing you, being with you there, at SCC, was one of the many joys I experienced, and nicest thing about my whole time there, was that the girls I met, practially every one of them, were even more sweet than their "online persona"--and, you were definitely one of those, girl! ((HUGS)) I love what you wrote above, about being accepted, and withering away centuries-old prejudices--and I agree, if people can finally get over their deep-seated(and obviously wrong--but, education is the key!) beliefs about us girls(and trans-men too), then I think it makes total sense that other prejudices will, eventually, become extinct. It will be a long time before that happens--but, I do also feel, as you do, that we truly are at the beginnings of making HUGE strides in our small, but ever-loving and close-knit community.
