Christmas Party

Well well well where to start? I was so looking forward to going to the Christmas party held by the ladies of Cornbury whom I also belong. I waited and waited and shopped and picked out an outfit that was tasteful and becoming for the occasion. That was done months before the social was even announced! I had a picture in my mind of how I wanted to present myself and I think I did rather well if I don't say so myself...and I will! (PS not the picture you see here) I'll get one up soon promise! It was so much fun to go out on such a chilly night with the cold breeze blowing up the unmentionables, cooling everything down. What a relief as I tend to be on the hot side...body temp not the other! Too many layers I guess? Oh well all part of the process. The party was a huge success and the hostess was to say the least ever so nice and enchanting. She definetely has a way with words and was so pleasant to talk with and be around. There was such a feeling of positive thoughts and kindness! All, I think, had a wonderful time. I can't wait to start giving back to the community that I belong to. It's times like that, that you really start to see things from a different perspective and see people for who they really are and not for what you see. Now with Christmas only a week or so away I have to get so much ready! Keeping hair appointments, meeting friends and of course shopping for ...what else shoes! Well okay boots! Tis the season! Snow on it's way here soon again, and it's the time that I really enjoy just...being. Merry Christmas to all who may read this and a very Happy and Prosperous New Year to you as well! Shopping Excitment!

This last weekend my wife and I decided to go shopping for Casandra! That was a change as we usually just shop for her and i live vicariously through all her purchases getting my own shopping for Casandra done at a later time. Then I try on the clothes to let my wife check them out and see if there should be any changes or not. This time we hit the mother load of clothes for the both of us and I walked out with more than her this time. There is a lady that works in the store and she is awsome to deal with. She's always happy to see us ...probably cause she knows we'll spend some money! No... but really fun to be around too. I found tops and sweaters that were so thin! Great for summe evenings and then we went shoe shopping! Ordered in two pairs of boots and another three pairs of shoes! Finally getting a pair of red pumps! The boots are really nice with a side zipper but they actually lace up the front too so you can adjust then to fit your legs so they stay comfy too! Then we walked past yet another store and I saw a dress black and oh so clingy and tight so in we went to grab that one as well and all...yes ALL were on sale! You have to love it when a sale is really a sale and not just high prices put to where they should have been! So now I am waiting for the shoes and boots to come and then more pics for all to see and hopefully I'll manage some time to get out some more if it decides to warm up a little! Thanks to all who read this and to the new people who may come accross it I say, "The first step is the hardest but once youv'e walked in my shoes you'll never want to take them off!" I'm really getting excited about this year and just know it's going to be one of changes that will work for me. Iusually don'y welcome change in my life but as of late I they are going to happen so why fight it and go with the flow! It could be a lot of fun! Hugs, happiness and kisses for all . . . Casandra's back in heels!

Well it's now mid March and I have been dying to try some new outfits on that I got while I was off my feet so to speak! I have updated the profile and there is a new casandra out there now! She's better and back at work too! Yes I am quite excited to be in my heels and some new spring clothes. This year is going to be a better year for her and she's going to get out way more than last year. There's a new look and attitude for her as well. I may have missed the begining of this year but spring is in the air and summer is around the corner...that can only mean shorter skirts and thinner tops! Have already ordered a few pairs of shoes for summer in some nice bright colours and can't wait to try them with even more outfits! Have to purge some stuff out though...more like recycle some of the tops and bottems that I don't wear anymore! Closets looking fine now and my legs are getting back in fine shape too! I have added a few new galleries with all new outfits in them so I hope you'll enjoy the new pictures and a huge THANK YOU HUN goes out to my lovely wife who is my photographer, confidant, lover and coach all in one! Thanks so much Baby! With out you I would not feel half as good as I do about myself now! She is my inspiration and support group all in one. I am so very lucky and blessed. Met My Friend Jenn

It was for me a long anticipated meeting. One that should have happend a while ago but well things happen in one's life and other things take priority. I got to meet my friend Jenn face to face and was not dissapointed or anything at all. We both seemed to hit it off right from the start. I guess I can say that we knew lots about each other before we met but well when it's a piece of wire going between you it's different than right there! You get to see the other person's emotions. I could have talked for hours with her...well we did but time moves on and we had to part our ways living in opposite diresctions from each other. I enjoyed our lunch together and look forward to meeting again when Jenn is ready and has all her Quacks in a row! I hope she reads this and knows that I understand what she's going through and I know that it will take time for her to get back on her feet and be the person she wants and needs to be. I am there for her as a friend, confidante and support group all in one. So with that thought I sign off and know that my friend and I will be in touch again soon whether it's through the wire or in person. Bye for now! Casandra

Well what can I say except I am going a little crazy with Cabin Fever! I have spent far too much time here in front of this thing since the surgery! The only good thing about that was meeting many more really nice people on URNA! I now have to go through my list and make a concentrated effort to contact them all as promissed! I still hope to catch up with a few local girls out there that are close to me..."JENN"? It'll happen. My rehab is going great and I am more up and around than not. Doing the physio and the exercises too whew! I even went out and got a new pair of shoes! Yes I did... well they were on order and when "Lee" called me to tell me they were in I had to get down there right away to grab them and take them on a test walk! Painfully delicious is how I will describe them! They are a tad high for me when running shoes are still sore on the old knee. I hope to post some new pictures for the new year and the shoes will be part of a few new outfits for me as well! That is about it other than to thank all who read this and who voted in the last ratings. Wow talk about a competition! Oh well enough on that subject...! To all who read this, take the time to look away from the screen. Get out there and show the world who you are and what you're made of even if it's only in your back yard. No high Heels for me for a while!

Well I knew this day was coming only it came so fast! December seemed to be rolling along quite slow for me even with Christmas and all that goes with it. You know the visits from friends you can't remember and the ones you don't want to remember! LOL kidding...or am I? Then you have to return the favour and do the same all over again. Some times it's fun like the events I went to over the holidays and got to meet other people like us. That really made the holidays special this year. I know it sounds corny but it's true! Well It's now early January 2, 2007 and tomorrow the 3rd I will have to have yet another sugery on my knee. I have had five already as they seem to alternate back and forth on me. So let's see sore knees and high heels...hmmmm nope no conection what so ever! I will not be a very happy girl but will try to log on and visit some of you as often as I can. I spent pretty much the whole day en femme and got lot's of pictures taken some I was ready for and others well, let's just say my wife the photographer was having some fun too! I'll do acouple of new galleries to show you. We both had a reall good time yesterday. I guess I wanted to make the best of the time that we have in front of us. We went out and came home and I wanted to change and be casual and comfortable to then go out and get some fresh air as it wasn't raining for a change like it is now! Absolutely pouring! Oh well I always say it could be snow! To all those who read this and that I am in contact with I want to thank you for your friendship and your kindness in the short time I have been here. For others who possibly don't undertsand us and are merely looking in from time to time please don't be too hard and quick to judge as we are all caring people too and are the last people to judge any one else. I am getting to wordy here. Is that even a word? Time for bed and then the fasting and a nice relaxing bath. Shave my legs again as there's no way that I'm letting one of those guys shave them! The last time I had more cuts from the razor than from the scalpel! Happy New Year to all who may read this and all the very best one could wish for in the year to come. Well the tears are starting to well up...don't know why I guess it's late or I'm tired. I'll sign off now and rest. Christmas Party

Well after getting myself together and being excited at yet another chance for Casandra to get out and mingle I finally made it. I thought I was going to be late...again as I was to the last couple of functions! I am working on getting it together faster although I did manage to be ready before my wife was! But she's ... well my inspiration so I can't disrespect her. We got to the party and were greeted and introduced to many other girls and thier significant others. It was warm in there and Casandra and heat do not mix well, but after a few opened windows things got better for her. There was plenty to eat and drink and alot of fun for all who made it out. The Host was very gracious as was the helper "Trixy" doing all of the washing up! We sure had a huge crowd in that tiny little appartment. I met lot's of people that I want to keep in touch with and that welcomed me with open arms, literally! So many high heels and festive dresses! All looked delicious! The thing about these people that I noticed being part of them now is that they are all very real, open and honest people. Their lives are just as complicated, if not more than mine. I had a great time out and look forward to more events like that one and who knows I'll probably host one of my own next year! Hmmm now what would Casandra like Spring ...nice and cool or Summer...too hot but less to wear ! Decisions decisions! Hugs to all who read this and A Happy NEW YEAR!
Wine and Cheese Outting!

Well girls I went out again and took along my wife this time! We both dressed up and went to a wine and cheese Christmas party on the 9th. What fun it was with all the other couples, Striaght, TG's TV's CD's and TS's. Everyone had such a great time that we went and stayed way past the time we should have left the party...but that means it was a good one right? I was very tired when we got home and wanted just to sleep but ever the trooper I thought I'd get another picture of a time I was dressed and had some outside fun! So the picture says it all, way too tired and trying to be a good girl for the photographer! Shes such a sweetie! I love her lots I can tell you that! We both had a great time and both had sore feet too... those heels are sometimes way too sexy to be comfortable. I can hardly wait till next week there's another party to go to and I will be thinking more casual and comfy that's for sure! Trim the Bangs!

12/07/06 The set of pictures here was the first day that I went out...I mean OUT of the house that was December 4,2006. I decided that my bangs were driving me nuts! So I rang the lady where I selected my hair style and she said come on in. Well it was so natural an invitation that I had to get all dressed up with somewhere to go! It was cold, miday traffic and we still had lots of snow on the ground. I went out with head held high and got in my vehicle and drove to the salon. I walked a block or two to get there from where I parked and felt wonderful. The rush of cool air up my skirt, the honk of a horn from a passing Garbage truck and the kind older gent that offered to assist me when I crossed an icy patch of the road! I went inside and had a coffee chatted with Vivian, the stylist, and before I knew it it was over! I was on my way home and realized that that was it? How cheated I felt. Time went too quickly for me. I must have more time out. I thought about it, then thought "Why tempt fate?" cause it will only bite you on the ass! I headed home and felt good about my spur of the moment jaunt to the salon. I had some pictures taken, the one's that appear here and posted them so I was no longer trapped as a provisional member! So the rest they say WILL be history!
