Strange Times

May 14th, 2007 12:43 pm MDT

Hi all,

It has been quite a while since I spent anytime as Kaitlyn. Strange, but I just haven't wanted to. Its been almost 6 months since I dressed and spent any time en femme. Other things have had my focus and attention. My wife actually mentioned that she misses Kaitlyn. I haven't even spent anytime on my website, I have a few sets of unposted material to get up there one of these days. Don't know if anyone else goes through these extended periods where they don't have the desire to dress. Truth be told, I think I burnt out on it. I was doing it so often that I just wanted to do other things. I must be slowly getting back into it, since I am here and posting the journal entry, but who knows. I did want to say hi to all of my friends here and let them know I am ok.

Hugs to all from Kaitlyn

Re: Strange Times Linda Lewis May 15th, 2007 5:59 am MDT Hi Kaitlyn! It's sooo good to hear that you are doing well and have been taking time off from all the girlie things you enjoy. I had a six month period when I didn't dress back in 2000. I was totally burned out from dressing five days a week, putting on makeup, everything. Sure...we all dream of doing that, but it's a lot to do everyday! I know you won't give this up completely, so come back when you are ready. Your friends will be here waiting for you. Love ya hunni! *Kisses!*

    Kaitlyn,

Hey I know this can be a real chore! I have gotten down to only taking two maybe three hours to get dressed. What used to take me all day now takes less time. One tip I can give you is never have any friends over when you get dressed! You will start out with an idea only to find it clashes with your friends idea...this can and will take for ever!

I have my wife as my publicity agent now and that seems to help. And I have have a stunt double who is allways in makeup and ready to go. Sooo just work smarter girl! Also put all your makeup on at once instead of the laborious effort of foundation, liner, shadow, mascara and lips. It's all gonna get smeared anyway....Right? So just put in all in bowl and apply liberally!

I really do miss you! And if you want I'll be glad to come over and show you how to do speed makeup!

Keep me posted and I hope we get to meet soon!

     Melissa

    P.S. Your not burnt out....just bored...lets party!
