Well I think I'm going to try this journal thing. This weekend wasn't so good for me. I got stood up twice for dates. What's with guys wanting to go out with you and then just disappearing. I'm guessing that they are just insecure, or maybe it's me and a guy doesn't want to go out with me. I really don't know, but it is frustrating.

I wouldn't think of it as you. Unfortunately, many people behave quite differently and think quite differently when they are speaking to someone online. In the heat of the moment, many people think they can follow through with commitments they make online and then they get cold feet when it comes time to actually meeting in the real world. I hate to say it, but it's a pretty common thing, especially if you're making plans with someone who's never actually followed through in the real world before. It might make sense to ask the person you're conversing with if they've ever actually met someone they've talked to online before or if you'll be the first person.
