Watched said video and i found it very moving. The girl who made this is very talented and mature beyond her fifteen years which is a rather unusual thing in this day and age when so many  youths face life devoid of " finer feelings"

Warfare evokes many feelings and emotions in us all, fascination, exultation, pride, honour and glory yet also calls to mind the reverse of the coin, the pain, loneliness, fear, grief, revulsion, despair and death.

This video is a moving testament to ALL the soldiers around the globe fighting evil, wherever it is found so that we may all grow up in a civilised world.

The lot of a soldier  has not changed a great deal since earliest times. Wrenched away from loved ones and thrown into often appalling conditions, mind and body tested beyond endurance. Comradeship plays a part in coping, yet it remains a day to day struggle on the field of battle, not knowing if and when you may see your loved ones again.

This teaches us the importance of living for the moment. Yet how many of us do? There may not be tommorrow...............Reach out. Dean

    Dear Brenda Sue,

The video is very moving. My friend Dean, above, says it all for me.

Thank you both for reminding us that MEMORIAL Day is not just cookouts, beach going, and shopping. We are free because others made the ultimate sacrifice for everyone else.

    *Peace*

    ~Karen~
