My first time trying on female clothes in a dressing room

January 31st, 2010 3:00 pm MST

I finally had the courage to try on the dress before buying it. I normally just find things I like and hope that it fits. If not, I just figure that was the price to pay to crossdress. I guess I have returned a few things but others just go to Goodwill. However, yesterday I was looking at this dress. It looked nice and I was about to buy it. The problem with dresses on men are that our bodies are different than women. Although I have a nice skinny waist, my upper body is bigger than most women. So back to my shopping. I was looking at all the dresses and women's clothes. There was a young Mexican girl working in that department. She asked if I needed help with anything. I quickly responded no, that I was just looking around. I finally picked up the dress and walked around hoping that she would ask if I wanted to try it on. (That has happened twice in the past) I might mention I was in guy clothes at the time. There was only a few people in the store at the time. Finally, I got the courage to ask her if I could try it on. Without hesitation, she said "sure" I followed her over to the changing rooms. She unlocked the door and I thanked her. I took off my shirt and undid my pants. Since it was a dress, I was able to just push my pants down to my ankles and slip the dress over my head. Although the length was good, it just covered my ass and was nice and tight, the top part was too tight and didn't look right. Of course if I had a stuffed bra and may have looked better. I decided that I had to stick with looser fitting dresses. I removed the dress and put my clothes back on. I wondered if the workers were talking about me. However, as I excited, the young worker was in her section and everyone was doing their normal work. I walked back and put back the dress. The girl came over and asked what I thought. I said it didn't feel right so I was going to pass. She than asked if I wanted to try anything else one. Although I would have loved to, I quickly responded no, I was fine. Although I didn't get the dress, it was a great experience and I am looking forward to doing it again. I may now be willing to spend more on clothes if I know they are going to look good and not end up at Goodwill.
