Very Sad

August 17th, 2010 9:34 am MDT

Well it has been a while since I have been on here. I was going to a head shrink here in Tn. I was going as she felt right and went each time, well the company I worked for changed insurance company and mental health was no longer covered , I was never told this doctor took people on a slidding scale and never told me that my insurance covered the sessions anymore, but i was still going to her I went with her for about 8 sessions once a month and was making progress as I thought, I went to MD she suggested and started HRT which was working great , then she went on vacation for a while and I returned to her when she came back. I went and gave her my new insurance card though in our session I was told the reason I was given the cold shoulder treatment for so long is that other TG had started stuff over stuff and the theripist I was seeing was not sure if she would treat anymore TG's. So after one session I told her I was on HRT and wanted to start working fulltime, while see told me she would give me a carry letter and the letter I had been asking her for: for over a year for my HRT . She told me she would give it to me and then I missed two appointments due to a death in the family I e-mailed her about the letters got the cold shoulder again and then got an e-mail back that she was not going to give me a letter and that she didn't think I was serious, when I went according to her appointments and then nothing. Is there something I can do I live in TN and theripist are very hard to come by here for us TG's.

I am in limbo not letter to work and now I had to stop my HRT which has really hurt me badly, how can you go to a theripist for over 2 years then stop treating that person then say I am not serious.

Any Help Please,

Hugs

Mel
