Hold your head up!
August 20th, 2008 10:28 am MDT
And if it's bad
Don't let it get you down, you can take it
And if it hurts
Don't let them see you cry, you can take it
Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high
And if they stare
Just let them burn their eyes on you moving
And if they shout
Don't let them change a thing what you're doing
Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high

april fools...?

April fools?
Current mood:
distraught
So here we find our not so little tranny wandering the streets of the midwest, looking for pack members and feeling very alone. She calls her friends on both coast and they lament with her, but alas she is alone. She has good friends, they console her but she misses her sisters, and longs for the days and nights running the streets of Philly, NYC and SF with her brood, praying on the unsuspecting and quarring her pray. Will she ever find a pack? Must she live a life of solitude? She bravely shakes of the night chill, and waits, her cries fill the night with the howl of the unconsolable. Where are her sisters and why wont they answer her call?
Quincy girls where are you?

One Year Anniversary
January 30th, 2008 10:10 am MST
Well girls its been a year....and what a year its been.
Last year I peeked out of the closet and opened a subcription to URNA, something I just had to do. So what has a year brought me? Some really neat friends, the ability to walk comfortably in four inch heels, I am afraid of nothing, and I am recognized in my circle of friends (non-trans) as beind someone you can come to with any kind of makeup or fashion issue. I did my 6th makeover for a GG, still not asking for money but she did take me out for lunch. I am actually giving away clothes instead of hoarding them. I discovered I had TWO identical leopard print blouses...imagine! I keep all the clothes I wont ever wear outside in boxes and they have expiration dates. Progress! I am becoming sensible...tee hee! I am still in Gender confusion, living in the midwest and being the only tranny in town, sometimes is a definate challenge! I now know most of the gender advocates in my district and will continue to help to promote the rights of good citizens of questionable gender! I dont have to be called Ma'm all the time, it's OK, some people need glasses. I still have a rough voice that I am working on and can generally sound fem if I remeber to turn it on. I still get the second looks, but I dont get the shock reaction much anymore. I am working hard at blending in and it pays off, until I decide to dress Manhatten Chic, then I get the hairy eyeballs. I read to many fashion mags and sometimes go overboard, but a girl has to either lead or follow in fashion!
To all the many girls that have helped this year! WAY to many to mention here!
THANK YOU!
I love you all!

Where the HELL are we now?

WOW what a amazing ride! Some of you know what it means to finally have your gears all synched up and to be able to mesh. No double clutching, no grinding, just smooth power! Isn't that what a tranny is supposed to do? I have lots of trouble staying in drab mode anymore. YEEEEEEUUUUKKK! Only when I HAVE too, then thats a far cry from my macho predecessor. Life has gotten decidely softer, smoother and creamier, as if we finally got it right. Well we have..... maybe. But.... what AM I? TS/TG/CD or as a very warped litle girl stated today a drag queen. Perhaps I am gender flux, transconscience, gender euphoric, a sexual anomaly or an aberation... NO, what I am is a child of God. I was built this way for a purpose. What and why,.... we will see. I am not "on the rainbow" in "the spectrum" or part of that "community". Labels are falling away fast! I belong with with the nice people, like some of you I have met here. I know my friends and they know me. We cry, laugh and tease becuase finally we can! Grow with me and others here and there, make solid friends, protect each others honor and dignity, and most important have patience and love each other. Synch up and Mesh! Like the bumper sticker says Mean People Suck! All my love! Melissa
