New Photos Coming
Kimberly Elise January 6th, 2009 6:30 am MSTI had a formal makeover and photo session on Sunday, January 4th. Later this week I should have some new photos, my first big group of new photos since last May. They will include some casual "bare leg" looks with denim and flip flops, as well as some more dressed up office lady looks. Some of the photos will show off the pedicure I had (vivid pink nail polish). Also, my hair is in a longer style now, well below my shoulders. Kim :-)

URNA DETECTIVES NEWS FLASH! DAN, JON & THE CASE OF THE MISSING JOURNAL ENTRIES!
Karen Reeves December 27th, 2008 8:54 pm MSTHi Everyone!
It appears that the case of the missing journal entry postings has been SOLVED!
I can see from my own list of the number of journal entries posted on my site that last June 4th was a busy day. I know I have posted quite a few journal entries over the years but not 53 of them!!! I can talk and write alot but . . . . .
Trying to repair the site the guys posted over 30 test entries on my site in just a few hours! When the site recently got repaired these disappearing journal entries suddenly reappeared. I just noticied this and have spent time deleting the test items.
I would suggest that everyone go delete repetative journal/test items to cut down on the clutter.
Thanks Dan & Jon for the great work in making Urnotalone such an awesome place!!! You have proved yourselves again!
*Smiles*

Merry Christmas 2008 To You All!
Karen Reeves December 20th, 2008 11:51 pm MSTHi Everyone!
It is that time of year and yesterday's/today's snowstorm just seems to add to the festive mood of Christmas. I know that getting ready for the holidays can be stressful and painful.
I enjoy all the bright lights, good cheer, parties, the presents, and Xmas dinner. But let us remember the true meaning of Xmas. It is the day that we celeberate the life of one person and the meaning of what it is to strive and have a better planet to live on.
Enjoy your holidays no matter your belief system!!!!!
*Kisses*

GOOBLE GOOBLE GOOBLE-Some November Thoughts !
Karen Reeves November 16th, 2008 10:00 pm MSTHi Everyone!
I hope that all of you have a great Thanksgiving. We all have, though it may not seem that way many times, so much to be thankful for. The next time you get down emotionally remember that things could be a whole lot worse. Many people are in that predicament.
Don't each too much turkey!

My Halloween Adventure
Denise Armel November 5th, 2008 3:49 pm MSTI have posted a picture on my profile of how I was dressed for this Halloween. Hint, the one with the feathered mask.
I started the evening going into downtown Plymouth. I stopped in to a jewelry shop, per the request of Karen, the owner who knows Denise but has never met her in person. (Just pictures of her) After some picture taking, of course, with Karen and her husband, I walked a couple of blocks along Main Street to the Nail Spa where I have my nails done regularly. All the girls in there also have seen pictures of Denise but had never met her. I had not told them that I was going to stop so when I strutted in, they and their customers really went wild, more pictures followed. Let me make note here, that the reason I had the balls, (damn it), to walk in my hometown this way, is that it was an advertised Trick or Treat event where store owners were giving out candy between 4-7pm. I was, however, the only "female" on the street without a child and/or husband in tow. The mask also helped too.
From there I went an evening at Chez Ducrot Bistro in the home of Chef Philippe Ducrot and his wife Linda. (I had spent an evening, in boy mode, last Spring observing them prepare and serve a dinner on a Saturday evening. I was exploring employment possibilities.) On this night they were hosting their annual Halloween dinner. I had hoped to go with someone, but that did not work out. Linda Durcot insisted I come anyway, in costume of course! She did not know what my costume would be. I rang the doorbell and when Linda came to the door, I announced, "David could not make it so he asked me to come in his place, I’m his cousin Denise!" Well, let me tell you, she went bonkers and could not believe her eyes. Her husband, Philippe, was speechless for several minutes! I think he liked me! I was crowned as the hostess for the evening. After carving a quick two pumpkins, I helped greet the 20 dinner guests and gave out candy to trick or treaters. The guests, some in costume, really loved Denise! My legs were definitely the hit of the evening. And of course, they wanted pictures of and with Denise. Throughout the evening, I helped serve and "entertain."
After dinner, an outdoor fire was lit and picture taking continued. The dinner wine really kicked in!
Linda Ducrot is a very loving and caring human being, and I ended up coming "out" to her. She was so accepting and encouraging. When I told her, she commented that she had a feeling about me. She had thought I was wearing more than just a costume, with the shaven legs and painted toes and, that I walked way to easily in high heals! A big hug from her really made me feel good. . A close friendship has been cultivated. What a wonderful and fun Halloween.

Are They......?
Linda Lewis October 14th, 2008 9:14 am MDTThis journal entry is for all of you who have been asking about, wondering if, or curious to know, if my breasts, seen in my latest pics, are real. They're not. What I have is an expensive prosthetic that I purchased from a manufacturer called Pro-Active Prosthetics located in the UK. What I have is called a Cleavage Croptop. Here's the URL for their website: www.proactiveprosthetics.com The best way to find out about the Cleavage Croptop is to visit their site and click on the "Cleavage Range" button in the navigation panel on the left side of their Home Page. Everything is explaine there about the Croptop. It is expensive, but it is well worth the money invested. I have the full "D" cup size Croptop. It takes about 6 months from ordering to delivery. I love my Croptop. It's the next best thing to having implants.

My September 08 Update!
Jackie Lee Thompson September 24th, 2008 8:07 am MDTWOW! It has certainly been a while since I posted something in my Journal. So, I guess it is time to write a little something about how things have been going in my life.
Life has been very busy this year, and interesting. During First Event this year I had a consultation with Dr. Mark Zukowski and had secured a date for my FFS. It was to have been July 17th of this year. I met with the HR rep at the company I work for – I’ll call her Sara - and let her know of my transgendered situation and my plans to transition. She was very supportive and understanding and had indicated that some of the guys at work had actually noticed changes in my appearance and some were actually taking bets that I was actually transitioning!! How about that!!!!!
My plan had been to go on medical leave and have my surgery. I had no intentions to return to work there because I did not think that was possible - I did not think it would at all be accepted. My therapist has been telling me all along that I might be surprised and that it may very well be possible to transition where I work, but I just did not think so. That is until Sara from HR called me into her office one day for a talk.
Apparently Sara in HR had to discuss with the company owner my request for medical leave for my FFS. Naturally, she needed to explain what it was all about. The owner was very understanding and indicated that if I wanted to return he would insure there would harassment would not be acceptable. WOW! I never expected that. So, my plans earlier this year moved forward in that direction…to at least have FFS and then worry about work after.
Unfortunately, an injury from October ’07 was coming back to haunt me. Last October I started having bursitis in my right shoulder. At the time my orthopedic doctor had given me a shot of cortisone and indicated everything should clear up in time. Then a week later all hell broke loose – a tendon in my arm had snapped. He said it was a common sports injury and he sees lots of them. At that point he made me have an MRI and the pictures indicated I had not only snapped that tendon but I had also torn my rotator cuff slightly, not bad but there was definitely a partial tear. He put me through about 5 months of physical therapy but when I wasn’t progressing we scheduled rotator cuff surgery for April 15th.
Mid April came and I decided to hold off on the surgery because I wanted to have the FFS first. By June my shoulder had worsened and another picture indicated the tear had become worse, probably because of all the darn snow shoveling I did this past winter (we had ton’s of it in the Mount Washington Valley). So, rotator cuff surgery was scheduled for July 22nd and my FFS was rescheduled for next June. At work, my plans for medical leave for my FFS turned into a medical leave for shoulder surgery. Oh well. Life isn’t perfect I guess.
Prior to surgery my doctor indicated that he was hoping to only have to go in laparoscopiclly and clean things up. He did not think incisions and a full-blown cuff repair were necessary. That did not matter to me…surgery was surgery and I was not looking forward to it no matter what. The big thing is the recover time would be minimal if he only had to do a minimal repair. However, and he let me know it with certainly, if he got in there and things had worsened a more in depth surgery would be necessary and I could expect a much longer recovery period.
Unfortunately that is just what happened. When I woke from recovery he was standing at the foot of my bed with his arms crossed. I felt like I was being reprimanded for doing something wrong!!! He told me he could not repair everything laparoscopicaly and that he had to do a much larger incision and much larger repair than we had hoped for. Apparently I must have really screwed it up over the winter.
So, here I am. It has been almost 8 weeks since my surgery and I am out of work on disability and attending Physical Therapy three times a week. I have a lot of help though as my girlfriend – the love of my life – is taking great care of me. Thank God for her! At this point I am living in Connecticut. My shoulder recovery is progressing but it is progressing slowly due to all the scar tissue which has developed. My surgeon had indicated a recovery period of up to 6 months or more. Luckily I have great disability insurance so I am covered financially. I’m really looking forward to getting back to a full recovery….it is just going to take time.
So, what about my transition? My transition is going well! I have very little electrolysis left. I see my endocrinologist in a few weeks and that visit will mark an entire year on HRT. The changes have been phenomenal!!! My girlfriend doesn’t think I’ll ever need implants! It certainly is surprising how well the hormones have treated me. I’m really looking forward to FFS next June!
So, where am I going from here? Time will tell. When (and where) I return to work really depends on when my surgeon says its ok. It could be another month or more. I’m only into my third week of range-of-motion therapy and there is at least another month of that. Then there will be another 12 weeks of strength training. Even if I do return to work in NH it will probably only be for a short period of time. I am very much settled here in CT and have great work opportunities close by. I really like it here and this is my new home. Staying up in NH 4 nights a week and traveling back to CT each weekend just seems way too much.
So, that is that for now. I hope everyone had a great summer. I’m definitely looking forward to the fall season. That is my favorite time of year next to winter!!!
For now…..take good care everyone!!. Stay safe and stay happy!!! Stop in from time to time and say hello!
Love,
~ Jackie Lee

Back again
Linda Lewis September 6th, 2008 9:49 am MDTThose of you who have been following the problems I had with my neighbors at the apartment complex I live in, the two guys who were giving me the most problems moved out finally. I hope that they have to put up with the crap I had to deal with from them, from their new neighbors. What goes around comes around. After 9 months, I'm free to be Linda again. I will be adding new pics here soon, so stay tuned for those.
As for the moving situation that I had on my profile page earlier, that situation will be reversed shortly. The new neighbors who have moved in below me have been doing a good job in keeping their puppy quiet for most of the time. I will be talking with the apartment manager about renewing my lease when it comes time to do that again.
One last thing before I end this entry, I have been asked by my dear friend FoxyKaren if I would like to re-join SSofNE. Karen honey, YES!!!! I would love to re-join. If you are reading this sometime soon, please send me an invite. Thank you love. I've missed you all very much. *Kisses*

Thoughts on Religion
Kimberly Elise August 21st, 2008 5:50 am MDTJust a note so there is no misunderstanding...if you're religious, I'm glad your religion works for you. But your religion is a private matter, so please don't try to convert me. I am quite happy the way I am. If anything changes, I'll call you. What are my beliefs? I'm basically an agnostic. Additionally, I'm interested in Buddhism and Hinduism, and have read some of the writings of J. Krishnamurti. I know this sounds kind of nebulous, but the fact is no human being can say for sure where we all came from and why our universe exists. As the author Geoffrey Wolfe once wrote, "We really don't know who we are, or where we have come from, or what we have done, or why." If you have read this far, log onto parabola.org. It's a great website (and magazine) which represents all faiths.

Long Time....
Linda Lewis August 15th, 2008 8:21 am MDTI tried to post this entry yesterday, but it didn't take, so I'll just be brief here with this entry. I haven't dressed as Linda since last November because of a problem with neighbors in the apartment building I live in. I don't know when i'll get to dress again. I apologise to all for not updating my profile or my pictures, as I have nothing new to post because of this. I have no idea when I'll be able to dress again as I keep getting told by the apartment manager that they'll be gone soon. That was supposed to be three months ago. Life sucks.

A Long Time Since....
Linda Lewis August 14th, 2008 10:58 am MDTBelieve it or not but it has been since November 15th, 2007, since the last time I have dressed as Linda. This situation is due to the continuing problem I have at the apartment complex I live in. The tenants in the apartment below mine are the main reason I haven't been dressing. They are a couple of young guys who don't give a damn about anyone. They are rude, noisy and have caused all sorts of problems for everyone in the building, including going to a young womans apartment in the wee hours of the night and basically scaring the living daylights out of her.
Several of us other tenants have complained to the complex manager about these two. I have spoken several times to the manager and she had told me time and again that they would be out of the apartment when their lease was up. Now, I was told that this would happen at the end of May. It didn't happen. Then I was told it would be at the end of June. It didn't happen. Then I was told it was the end of July. One of the two did move out, but the other is still there. I was basically lied to by the manager just to keep me quiet. I know some of you would say that I should move. Well, I had just signed a new lease back in February for 12 months. I'm only through 5 1/2 months of that lease, so moving isn't an option right now. Besides, I have lived there for 3 1/2 years now. I shouldn't be the one to move.
Anyways...I have grown restless and irritable from this situation. My profile here and on other sites have gotten stale due to no new pictures or updates about going out. Currently I have no idea when this will change, so if I have you listed as a friend here and you no longer wish to have me as a friend, you are more than welcome to remove me from your friends list. As I have written on my profile, I don't know when I'll be back.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate the messages the few of you do send my way.

Laser Treatment on Legs
Kimberly Elise June 19th, 2008 6:34 am MDTI recently had a laser hair reduction treatment on my lower legs for the first time. Laser is something I have done on other parts of my body such as my upper legs, neck, hands, etc. The result on my lower legs is especially delightful though. It's as though there was never any hair there at all! As time goes, I truly feel more and more as a woman. :-)

THIS IS ONLY A TEST! SOME JUNE THOUGHTS
Karen Reeves June 4th, 2008 7:13 pm MDTHi Everyone!
This is a test to see if I can input my journal entry. Fingers crossed!
Summer is almost here. I know that 90 degree weather and 95% humidity does not do much for makeup. The season does not always lend itself to dressing up. The dressed go into the box and the boxes go into the closest.
Why not slip into that swimsuit and go on out and get a great tan in a nice secluded surrounding. Or be more brave and go out in public with a cute, sleeveless top and min shorts/skirt. Give the guys some "eye candy!"
*Kisses*

Karen Reeves June 4th, 2008 6:36 pm MDTHi Everyone!
I am writing this journal entry to see if it will input or not! *Fingers crossed*
Summer is almost here and for many girls the makeup and clothes go into the box and the box goesinto the closet. While makeup does not work well in 90 degree weather and worse in 90% humidity you can still enjoy dressing. How about buying a new swim suit and sunning yourself in a secluded spot? Or if you are more adventuresome go out in public in a smart little outfit or a sleveless top and mini shorts! Give the guys some "eye candy!"
Enjoy the great weather!
