Hi,
On Tuesday May 26th, my name change peition is benig heard. I am very excited, and bought two new outfits for the hearing. THe nice thing is that I have greater confidence and live full time as Diana. What I am learning is that you have to be you, a friend of mine Sandi is helping, and others in the community as well. One manager at my mother's nursing home and I had a nice discussion about my transition, and her and her partner offered to help me. I no longer have to hide.

Being Me

Hi,
I had the courage to come out to my friends and colleagues about being transgendered. I was scared at first because my colleagues may not wish to work with me. What I found is that they respected me and my decision to be true to myself. A few months ago, I came out to my graduate class about me being transgendered and male to female. By coming out, it is easier for me ot be me, Diana.
